- white fish fillet16 oz
- broccoli florets12 oz
- uncooked white rice1 cup
- onion, diced1/2 cup
- garlic clove4 clove
- ginger, fresh, grated4 tsp
- tamari, low-sodium4 tbsp
- rice vinegar4 tsp
- sesame oil4 tsp
- red pepper flakes1/2 tsp
- salt & pepper1/2 tsp
Instructions
- 1Rinse the rice, cook it in a saucepan with water until tender, and fluff it when finished.
- 2Pat the fish dry and season lightly with pepper. Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sear the fish until opaque and cooked through. Transfer it to a plate.
- 3Add the onion, broccoli, garlic, and ginger to the skillet. Cook until the broccoli is tender-crisp, adding a small splash of water if needed.
- 4Stir in the tamari, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Return the fish to the skillet and spoon the glaze over it.
- 5Serve the fish and broccoli over the rice.
