1. What this is
This agreement is between you (the "Affiliate") and Let's Get Hot (the "Company"). It covers your participation in the Let's Get Hot affiliate program. You are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, or partner of the Company, and nothing here creates any of those relationships.
You may end this agreement at any time by asking us to close your affiliate account. We may end it at any time, for any reason, by notifying you at the email on your account.
2. Your link and how referrals are counted
On approval you receive a unique link based on your creator handle. A person who arrives through your link and creates an account within 60 days of that click is credited to you, unless they later arrive through a different affiliate link before signing up, in which case the most recent link wins.
Attribution depends on the visitor keeping browser storage between the click and the signup. Cleared storage, a different device, or a privacy mode that blocks storage means the referral cannot be counted. We do not use cross-site tracking to work around this.
3. What you earn
You earn 30% of the net subscription revenue the Company actually collects from each member you refer, for that member’s first 12 months of paid subscription. Net means after refunds, chargebacks, discounts, and payment processing failures. Taxes are excluded.
A commission is created when a payment succeeds and becomes payable 30 days later, once the refund window has passed. If a payment is refunded or charged back, the matching commission is reversed; if it was already paid to you, it is deducted from your next payout.
Commissions are never earned on your own account, on accounts you control, or on payments that never reach the Company.
4. How you get paid
Payouts are made by PayPal to the address you give us, once per month, for balances of at least $25. Balances below $25 roll over until they cross the minimum.
You are responsible for the taxes on what you earn. If you are a U.S. person and we pay you $2,000 or more in a calendar year, we will ask for a completed W-9 before further payouts and will issue a 1099-NEC. We may hold a payout until required tax information is provided.
Unclaimed balances on a closed affiliate account are retained for 12 months and paid on request within that period.
5. Disclosure, required
Every time you share your link or promote the Company, you must clearly and conspicuously disclose that you earn a commission. Place the disclosure before your recommendation, where a reader sees it without clicking "more". "#ad" or "affiliate link" is enough; "#partner", "#collab", or a disclosure buried in a description is not.
This is a Federal Trade Commission requirement, not a Company preference, and both of us are exposed when it is skipped. Failing to disclose is grounds for immediate removal from the program and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.
6. What you may not do
Refer yourself, or create accounts to generate commissions.
Bid on "Let's Get Hot", our misspellings, or our URLs in paid search, or run ads that appear to come from us.
Post your link or a promotional code to coupon, deal, or cashback sites, or advertise any discount other than one we have assigned to you.
Send unsolicited email or messages, or promote the app anywhere that prohibits affiliate links.
Register domains, social accounts, or app listings using our name or a confusable variation.
Modify our logo or mascot, or use them in a way that suggests you speak for us.
7. Promotional codes
We may give you a promotional code for your audience. A code is yours to advertise while the campaign behind it is running, and it appears on your affiliate dashboard with the offer it carries and the date it ends.
A campaign can be ended at any time, including before any date we published, and ending it stops every code on it working immediately. Check your dashboard before you publish something new, and stop advertising a code once it stops working. Do not describe a discount as permanent, and do not state an end date we have not given you.
Only advertise a code we assigned to you. Codes are per creator, so sharing yours for others to reuse, or posting it where it will be scraped onto a deal site, is grounds for removal from the program.
A discount reduces what the member pays, and your commission is a share of what they actually pay. Discounted subscriptions therefore earn a smaller commission than full-price ones.
8. What you may not claim
Let's Get Hot plans meals and training. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition, and it does not promise weight loss, fitness outcomes, or health results. Do not make claims of that kind on our behalf.
Do not present the app as a substitute for medical, nutritional, or psychological advice. Do not target your promotion at people under 18.
You may describe your own genuine experience. Do not invent results, fabricate reviews, or present a paid promotion as an unpaid one.
9. Our marketing materials
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the logos, artwork, screenshots, and copy we provide in the affiliate kit, solely to promote the Company while this agreement is in force. Everything else about those materials stays ours.
Use them as provided. Do not alter the mark, recolor the mascot, or edit screenshots to show features or results the app does not produce. When this agreement ends, stop using them, and stop advertising any promotional code we issued you.
10. Changes, and ending this
We may change the commission rate, the attribution window, or these terms. Material changes are published as a new version, and you will be asked to accept it before your next payout. Commissions already earned under an earlier version are honored at that version’s rate.
If either of us ends this agreement, commissions already earned and not forfeited are paid on the normal schedule. If we end it because you broke the rules in sections 5, 6, 7, or 8, unpaid commissions may be forfeited.
11. The legal necessities
The materials and the program are provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, the Company is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability to you is limited to the commissions payable to you in the 12 months before the claim.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Questions go to support@letsgethot.app.
Accepting this agreement happens once, on the application form. We record which version you accepted and when.
