- Masa harina1 cup
- Cooking oil4 tsp
- Ground cumin1 tsp
- Chili powder2 tsp
- Cilantro1/4 bunch
- Salt1 tsp
Instructions
- 1Mix the masa harina with a little water, oil, and salt to make a soft dough, then form small dumplings.
- 2Brown the chicken in a deep skillet with the onion and bell pepper.
- 3Add the garlic, tomatoes, beans, cumin, chili powder, and enough water to make a thick stew.
- 4Nestle the dumplings into the simmering stew, cover, and cook until the chicken is tender and the dumplings are firm.
- 5Garnish with cilantro and serve hot.
